About this task

This Personal-care brand in cleaning products (5,000+ employees) is looking for a manager Internal Audit & SOX Support for an ongoing part-time engagement of 1–2 h a week. Tracks open findings and verifies the fixes.

Workload peaks and dips, so a few fixed hours a week fit better than a full-time seat. It sells consumer goods through retailers, so planning cycles run to a fixed monthly calendar.

The work is fully remote. Any location in Luxembourg works, with a few hours of overlap with the team's day. Most people do this on weekday evenings; replies inside the working day are not expected. About 2 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (CET).

What you deliver

• Follow up 8 open audit findings with owners, record evidence and close those that pass re-test.
• A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends
• Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day
• A written update every Thursday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked

What a week looks like

• Tuesday: 15-minute check-in to agree the week's items
• Friday: main working block (1 hours)
• Thursday: hand-off note with what shipped and what is open

Duration: 8 weeks, renewable. Accepted when the output matches the agreed checklist and the sample check passes; the recruiter confirms by e-mail.

How you get paid

• The company prepays Deftridge before your first hour, so payment does not depend on a late invoice.
• Deftridge pays you in EUR after the company confirms the hours or the deliverable. The payment date is written in your task agreement.
• You work as an independent contractor: you report your own income, and your recruiter sends the statements your accountant needs.
