About this task

This legal services provider advising lenders (1,001–5,000 employees) is looking for a manager Regulatory Researcher for an ongoing part-time engagement of 1–2 h a week. Monthly update on what changed.

The company wants a senior person on this without carrying the cost of a full-time role. It is a law firm; confidentiality is absolute and every file is handled under supervision.

The work is fully remote, but the company can only contract people who live in Colorado, so this one is for residents there. The work runs in two set slots a week, agreed with the team at the start. About 2 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (MT).

What you deliver

  • Write a monthly regulatory watch for HR and employment across three countries.
  • A written update every Monday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked
  • Work logged against the agreed list, so the company contact can see progress without a call
  • A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends

What a week looks like

  • Wednesday: 15-minute check-in to agree the week's items
  • Friday: main working block (1 hours)
  • Monday: hand-off note with what shipped and what is open

Duration: 12 weeks, renewable. Accepted on the company's written OK. If something is missed, you fix it in the same week at no extra charge to either side.
