About this task

This Growth-stage AI research company for finance teams (501–1,000 employees) is looking for a director AI Evaluator: Operations & Project Management for a rating and review programme for AI output in your own field, 4–10 h a week. Writes gold-standard plans for graders.

Ratings are checked against a written rubric, and your notes go back to the team that builds the product. It builds AI products and needs human experts to check what the models produce.

The work is fully remote. Any location in Hungary works, with a few hours of overlap with the team's day.

What you deliver

• Write 12 model project plans for common situations, with a rubric of what a good plan includes.
• Flags for answers that are unsafe, off-topic or wrong in your field
• Short calibration notes after the first batch, so your ratings match the guidelines
• A weekly count of items reviewed, confirmed by the programme lead

What a week looks like

• Thursday: pick up the queue and confirm priorities
• Midweek: two short working sessions of one to two hours
• Monday: update sent before the company's end of day

Duration: Weekly batches for 8 weeks, renewed every four weeks. Accepted when the output matches the agreed checklist and the sample check passes; the recruiter confirms by e-mail.

How you get paid

• The company prepays Deftridge before your first hour, so payment does not depend on a late invoice.
• Deftridge pays you in EUR after the company confirms the hours or the deliverable. The payment date is written in your task agreement.
• You work as an independent contractor: you report your own income, and your recruiter sends the statements your accountant needs.
• You never chase the company. Questions about money go to Deftridge.
