About this task

This Series A developer-tools company for law firms (51–200 employees) is looking for a manager AI Evaluator: Legal for a rating and review programme for AI output in your own field, 4–10 h a week. Writes the model legal answer for grading.

Ratings are checked against a written rubric, and your notes go back to the team that builds the product. The company sells subscription software, so deadlines follow release and billing cycles.

The work is fully remote. Any location in Canada works, with a few hours of overlap with the team's day.

What you deliver

  • Write 5 short model memos on common commercial questions with sources and a marking note.
  • A weekly count of items reviewed, confirmed by the programme lead
  • Flags for answers that are unsafe, off-topic or wrong in your field
  • Short calibration notes after the first batch, so your ratings match the guidelines

What a week looks like

  • Tuesday: pick up the queue and confirm priorities
  • Midweek: two short working sessions of one to two hours
  • Wednesday: update sent before the company's end of day

Duration: Weekly batches for 12 weeks, renewed every four weeks. Accepted after the walkthrough. Edits requested within three working days are part of the price.
