About this task
This machinery maker making industrial pumps (201–500 employees) is looking for a specialist Bookkeeper for an ongoing part-time engagement of 2–5 h a week. Matches receipts to transactions and chases missing ones.
The person who did this left, and the company would rather bring in an experienced part-timer than rush a permanent hire. It manufactures physical products, and the office team works to month-end and plant schedules.
The work is fully remote. Any location in United States works, with a few hours of overlap with the team's day. You choose your hours; nothing is scheduled except an occasional short call. About 2 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (ET).
What you deliver
- Match 120 card transactions to receipts, flag 8 missing ones and request them from the team.
- A written update every Friday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked
- Work logged against the agreed list, so the company contact can see progress without a call
- A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends
What a week looks like
- Monday: pick up the queue and confirm priorities
- Midweek: two short working sessions of one to two hours
- Friday: update sent before the company's end of day
Duration: 12 weeks, renewable. Accepted when the output matches the agreed checklist and the sample check passes; the recruiter confirms by e-mail.
