About this task

This industrial manufacturer making industrial pumps (5,000+ employees) is looking for a senior Bookkeeper for an ongoing part-time engagement of 2–5 h a week. Matches receipts to transactions and chases missing ones.

The team is stretched and wants steady, predictable help instead of another full-time hire. It manufactures physical products, and the office team works to month-end and plant schedules.

The company prefers a person who can come to Chemnitz for kickoff and the final review; the rest is remote. The work runs in two set slots a week, agreed with the team at the start.

What you deliver

• Match 250 card transactions to receipts, flag 20 missing ones and request them from the team.
• Work logged against the agreed list, so the company contact can see progress without a call
• A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends
• A written update every Tuesday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked

What a week looks like

• Monday: 15-minute check-in to agree the week's items
• Thursday: main working block (2 hours)
• Tuesday: hand-off note with what shipped and what is open

Duration: 12 weeks, renewable. Accepted on the company's written OK. If something is missed, you fix it in the same week at no extra charge to either side.

How you get paid

• The company prepays Deftridge before your first hour, so payment does not depend on a late invoice.
• Deftridge pays you in EUR after the company confirms the hours or the deliverable. The payment date is written in your task agreement.
• You work as an independent contractor: you report your own income, and your recruiter sends the statements your accountant needs.
• You never chase the company. Questions about money go to Deftridge.
