About this task
This consumer goods company (201–500 employees) is looking for a specialist PMO & Program Support for an ongoing part-time engagement of 3–6 h a week. Risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies maintained.
Workload peaks and dips, so a few fixed hours a week fit better than a full-time seat. It sells consumer goods through retailers, so planning cycles run to a fixed monthly calendar.
The company prefers a person who can come to El Paso for kickoff and the final review; the rest is remote. Most people do this on weekday evenings; replies inside the working day are not expected.
What you deliver
- Maintain the RAID log for a programme, chase updates and escalate blockers.
- Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day
- A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends
- Work logged against the agreed list, so the company contact can see progress without a call
What a week looks like
- Tuesday: pick up the queue and confirm priorities
- Midweek: two short working sessions of one to two hours
- Wednesday: update sent before the company's end of day
Duration: 8 weeks, renewable. Accepted on the company's written OK. If something is missed, you fix it in the same week at no extra charge to either side.
