About this task

This construction group in logistics warehouses (201–500 employees) is looking for a specialist Tax Preparation Support for a single piece of work with a fixed scope and a fixed price. Gathers project and time records that support a credit claim.

A fresh pair of experienced eyes is needed, and the result is a document or file the team can use straight away. It works in real estate and construction, where project documents change often.

The team sits in Nuneaton. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. You choose your hours; nothing is scheduled except an occasional short call.

What you deliver

  • Compile project descriptions, staff-time records and cost schedules for an R&D credit study.
  • A 20-minute walkthrough call, or a recorded screen share if you prefer
  • One round of edits after the company's review is included
  • The finished deliverable in the agreed file format, with sources and assumptions listed

How the work runs

  • Day 1: scope confirmed in writing, files shared
  • Middle of the period: draft shared for early feedback
  • Last day: final version and handover note

Duration: about 10 working days. Accepted after the walkthrough. Edits requested within three working days are part of the price.

Not included

  • On-call availability outside the agreed window
  • A signature or opinion in your own name: sign-off stays with the company

  • Deftridge pays you in GBP after the company confirms the hours or the deliverable. The payment date is written in your task agreement.
  • You work as an independent contractor: you report your own income, and your recruiter sends the statements your accountant needs.
  • You never chase the company. Questions about money go to Deftridge.
