About this task

This Series B workflow automation company for construction firms (51–200 employees) is looking for a manager Project Manager for a single piece of work with a fixed scope and a fixed price. Reviews a troubled project and recommends next steps.

The company has a deadline, no one free to own it, and wants a person who has done the same job before. The company sells subscription software, so deadlines follow release and billing cycles.

The work is fully remote. Any location in United Kingdom works, with a few hours of overlap with the team's day. You choose your hours; nothing is scheduled except an occasional short call.

What you deliver

  • Review a six-month delayed project and deliver a recovery plan in one week.
  • One round of edits after the company's review is included
  • A final note stating what was checked and what was left out of scope
  • A 20-minute walkthrough call, or a recorded screen share if you prefer

How the work runs

  • Day 1: kickoff call and access to the files
  • Days 2 to 6: the work, with questions answered the same day
  • Last day: delivery and a short walkthrough

Duration: 2 to 3 weeks. Accepted on the company's written OK. If something is missed, you fix it in the same week at no extra charge to either side.
