About this task

This finance advisory firm (201–500 employees) is looking for a manager PMO & Program Support for an ongoing part-time engagement of 4–8 h a week. Consolidated status across projects with RAG ratings.

The person who did this left, and the company would rather bring in an experienced part-timer than rush a permanent hire. It is a consulting firm, so client deadlines set the pace and handover notes are expected.

The team sits in Little Rock. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. The work runs in two set slots a week, agreed with the team at the start.

What you deliver

• Compile the weekly status pack for 15 projects and highlight decisions for the steering committee.
• Work logged against the agreed list, so the company contact can see progress without a call
• Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day
• A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends

What a week looks like

• Thursday: 15-minute check-in to agree the week's items
• Friday: main working block (3 hours)
• Tuesday: hand-off note with what shipped and what is open

Duration: 12 weeks, renewable. Accepted when the company contact confirms the deliverable against the written checklist. One round of edits is included.

How you get paid

• The company prepays Deftridge before your first hour, so payment does not depend on a late invoice.
• Deftridge pays you in USD after the company confirms the hours or the deliverable. The payment date is written in your task agreement.
• You work as an independent contractor: you report your own income, and your recruiter sends the statements your accountant needs.
• You never chase the company. Questions about money go to Deftridge.
