About this task
This electronics manufacturer making building materials (201–500 employees) is looking for a manager PMO & Program Support for an ongoing part-time engagement of 4–8 h a week. Consolidated status across projects with RAG ratings.
Workload peaks and dips, so a few fixed hours a week fit better than a full-time seat. It manufactures physical products, and the office team works to month-end and plant schedules.
The company prefers a person who can come to Leicester for kickoff and the final review; the rest is remote. Most people do this on weekday evenings; replies inside the working day are not expected. About 2 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (UK time).
What you deliver
- Compile the weekly status pack for 8 projects and highlight decisions for the steering committee.
- A written update every Friday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked
- A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends
- Work logged against the agreed list, so the company contact can see progress without a call
What a week looks like
- Daily: one hour at a time that suits you, inside the agreed window
- Wednesday: ten-minute sync if anything is blocked
- Friday: weekly summary posted to the shared thread
Duration: 12 weeks, renewable. Accepted when the output matches the agreed checklist and the sample check passes; the recruiter confirms by e-mail.
