About this task

This Series C online marketplace for beauty (501–1,000 employees) is looking for a senior B2B Content Writer for an ongoing part-time engagement of 1–2 h a week. Clear release notes that customers actually read.

The person who did this left, and the company would rather bring in an experienced part-timer than rush a permanent hire. It sells online, so volumes move with promotions and the calendar matters.

The team sits in Norwalk. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. Most people do this on weekday evenings; replies inside the working day are not expected.

What you deliver

• Write monthly release notes and a customer email from the product team's change log.
• Work logged against the agreed list, so the company contact can see progress without a call
• Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day
• A written update every Tuesday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked

What a week looks like

• Daily: one hour at a time that suits you, inside the agreed window
• Friday: ten-minute sync if anything is blocked
• Tuesday: weekly summary posted to the shared thread

Duration: 16 weeks, renewable. Accepted when the output matches the agreed checklist and the sample check passes; the recruiter confirms by e-mail.

How you get paid

• The company prepays Deftridge before your first hour, so payment does not depend on a late invoice.
