About this task
This technology consulting firm (1,001–5,000 employees) is looking for a senior Procurement & Vendor Manager for a single piece of work with a fixed scope and a fixed price. Thresholds, approvals and buying rules.
It is a self-contained job: scope, checklist and price are agreed before you start. It is a consulting firm, so client deadlines set the pace and handover notes are expected.
The work is fully remote, but the company can only contract people who live in Texas, so this one is for residents there. You choose your hours; nothing is scheduled except an occasional short call. About 2 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (CT).
What you deliver
- Write a procurement policy with approval levels and a purchase request form.
- A 20-minute walkthrough call, or a recorded screen share if you prefer
- One round of edits after the company's review is included
- A final note stating what was checked and what was left out of scope
How the work runs
- Day 1: scope confirmed in writing, files shared
- Middle of the period: draft shared for early feedback
- Last day: final version and handover note
Duration: about 10 working days. Accepted when the output matches the agreed checklist and the sample check passes; the recruiter confirms by e-mail.
