About this task
This finance advisory firm for energy companies (201–500 employees) is looking for a manager Internal Audit & SOX Support for a single piece of work with a fixed scope and a fixed price. Records how a process works and where the controls sit.
The work is too small to justify a hire and too important to leave to chance. It is a consulting firm, so client deadlines set the pace and handover notes are expected.
The team sits in Mannheim. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. Most people do this on weekday evenings; replies inside the working day are not expected. About 2 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (CET).
What you deliver
- Document a procure-to-pay walkthrough with a process map, risks and control descriptions.
- The finished deliverable in the agreed file format, with sources and assumptions listed
- A 20-minute walkthrough call, or a recorded screen share if you prefer
- One round of edits after the company's review is included
How the work runs
- Day 1: scope confirmed in writing, files shared
- Middle of the period: draft shared for early feedback
- Last day: final version and handover note
Duration: about 10 working days. Accepted on the company's written OK. If something is missed, you fix it in the same week at no extra charge to either side.
