About this task
This Series B gaming platform making educational games (51–200 employees) is looking for a director Fractional COO for a single piece of work with a fixed scope and a fixed price. Finds where work waits and proposes fixes in order of effect.
The company has a deadline, no one free to own it, and wants a person who has done the same job before. It is a games studio with release dates that move the whole calendar.
The team sits in Dudley. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. You choose your hours; nothing is scheduled except an occasional short call. About 2 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (UK time).
What you deliver
- Map order-to-delivery, measure waiting time and propose five fixes with expected savings.
- The finished deliverable in the agreed file format, with sources and assumptions listed
- A final note stating what was checked and what was left out of scope
- A 20-minute walkthrough call, or a recorded screen share if you prefer
How the work runs
- Day 1: scope confirmed in writing, files shared
- Middle of the period: draft shared for early feedback
- Last day: final version and handover note
Duration: 2 to 3 weeks. Accepted when the output matches the agreed checklist and the sample check passes; the recruiter confirms by e-mail.
