About this task
This contract research organisation in neuroscience (5,000+ employees) is looking for a specialist Compliance Analyst for a single piece of work with a fixed scope and a fixed price. Compares policies against a regulation or standard.
The work is too small to justify a hire and too important to leave to chance. It works in life sciences, where documents are versioned and reviewed in a fixed order.
The company prefers a person who can come to Oakland for kickoff and the final review; the rest is remote. You choose your hours; nothing is scheduled except an occasional short call. About 1 hour a week should overlap with the team's day (PT).
What you deliver
- Compare the information security policy against ISO 27001 controls and list gaps.
- One round of edits after the company's review is included
- A final note stating what was checked and what was left out of scope
- The finished deliverable in the agreed file format, with sources and assumptions listed
How the work runs
- Day 1: kickoff call and access to the files
- Days 2 to 7: the work, with questions answered the same day
- Last day: delivery and a short walkthrough
Duration: 2 to 3 weeks. Accepted after the walkthrough. Edits requested within three working days are part of the price.
