About this task
This property and casualty insurer for professional liability (201–500 employees) is looking for a senior Policy & Handbook Writer for a single piece of work with a fixed scope and a fixed price. Communication and tracking for a new policy.
A fresh pair of experienced eyes is needed, and the result is a document or file the team can use straight away. It is an insurer, so accuracy and an audit trail come before speed.
The work is fully remote. Any location in United States works, with a few hours of overlap with the team's day. Evenings or weekends are fine, as long as the agreed weekly output is there. About 2 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (PT).
What you deliver
- Plan the rollout of the new handbook with email, FAQ and acknowledgement tracking.
- One round of edits after the company's review is included
- The finished deliverable in the agreed file format, with sources and assumptions listed
- A final note stating what was checked and what was left out of scope
How the work runs
- Day 1: kickoff call and access to the files
- Days 2 to 4: the work, with questions answered the same day
- Last day: delivery and a short walkthrough
Duration: 2 to 3 weeks. Accepted after the walkthrough. Edits requested within three working days are part of the price.
