About this task
This Home-goods retailer with stores in six countries (201–500 employees) is looking for a specialist SQL & ETL Support for an ongoing part-time engagement of 3–6 h a week. Finds why a load failed and fixes or escalates it.
The person who did this left, and the company would rather bring in an experienced part-timer than rush a permanent hire. It is a retailer with stores and an online channel, and the team works to a weekly trading rhythm.
The company prefers a person who can come to Calgary for kickoff and the final review; the rest is remote. You choose your hours; nothing is scheduled except an occasional short call. About 3 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (MT).
What you deliver
- Monitor overnight loads, resolve failures and write a short incident note for each one.
- A written update every Monday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked
- Work logged against the agreed list, so the company contact can see progress without a call
- Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day
What a week looks like
- Daily: one hour at a time that suits you, inside the agreed window
- Tuesday: ten-minute sync if anything is blocked
- Monday: weekly summary posted to the shared thread
Duration: 16 weeks, renewable. Accepted after the walkthrough. Edits requested within three working days are part of the price.
