About this task

This Series A E-commerce platform for pet products (51–200 employees) is looking for a manager Payroll Specialist for a single piece of work with a fixed scope and a fixed price. Moves payroll to a new provider with a parallel run.

It is a self-contained job: scope, checklist and price are agreed before you start. It sells online, so volumes move with promotions and the calendar matters.

The team sits in Gijón. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. You choose your hours; nothing is scheduled except an occasional short call. About 1 hour a week should overlap with the team's day (CET).

What you deliver

  • Migrate 60 employees to a new payroll provider with opening balances and a parallel run.
  • A 20-minute walkthrough call, or a recorded screen share if you prefer
  • The finished deliverable in the agreed file format, with sources and assumptions listed
  • A final note stating what was checked and what was left out of scope

How the work runs

  • Day 1: kickoff call and access to the files
  • Days 2 to 9: the work, with questions answered the same day
  • Last day: delivery and a short walkthrough

Duration: 1 to 2 weeks. Accepted after the walkthrough. Edits requested within three working days are part of the price.
