About this task
This Electric-vehicle maker in aftermarket parts (1,001–5,000 employees) is looking for a senior Payroll Specialist for a single piece of work with a fixed scope and a fixed price. Prepares a clean handover when a company changes payroll provider in Europe.
The company has a deadline, no one free to own it, and wants a person who has done the same job before. It is an automotive business with long programme cycles and a strong paper trail.
The work is fully remote. Any location in Germany works, with a few hours of overlap with the team's day. You choose your hours; nothing is scheduled except an occasional short call.
What you deliver
- Build the employee, pay element and year-to-date file for 40 people moving to a new payroll provider.
- One round of edits after the company's review is included
- A final note stating what was checked and what was left out of scope
- The finished deliverable in the agreed file format, with sources and assumptions listed
How the work runs
- Day 1: scope confirmed in writing, files shared
- Middle of the period: draft shared for early feedback
- Last day: final version and handover note
Duration: about 10 working days. Accepted when the output matches the agreed checklist and the sample check passes; the recruiter confirms by e-mail.

Nice to have
- A habit of asking one clarifying question early rather than five late
- Has worked with a distributed team across time zones
Not included
- Work outside the scope written in the brief; extra items are quoted separately
- Travel or work at a fixed location
- On-call availability outside the agreed window
How you get paid
