About this task
This education foundation in food security (501–1,000 employees) is looking for a manager Payroll Specialist for a single piece of work with a fixed scope and a fixed price. Samples payroll across a year and tests rates, deductions and overtime.
The company has a deadline, no one free to own it, and wants a person who has done the same job before. It is a nonprofit, so budgets are tight and grant reporting dates are fixed.
The team sits in Munich. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. Evenings or weekends are fine, as long as the agreed weekly output is there. About 2 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (CET).
What you deliver
- Audit 8 months of payroll for 25 employees and report rate errors, missed deductions and overtime issues.
- One round of edits after the company's review is included
- A final note stating what was checked and what was left out of scope
- The finished deliverable in the agreed file format, with sources and assumptions listed
How the work runs
- Day 1: scope confirmed in writing, files shared
- Middle of the period: draft shared for early feedback
- Last day: final version and handover note
Duration: about 10 working days. Accepted when the output matches the agreed checklist and the sample check passes; the recruiter confirms by e-mail.
