About this task
This Series A medical devices company for primary care (51–200 employees) is looking for a manager Payroll Specialist for a single piece of work with a fixed scope and a fixed price. Samples payroll across a year and tests rates, deductions and overtime.
The company has a deadline, no one free to own it, and wants a person who has done the same job before. It works in healthcare, so patient data is never part of the task and privacy rules are strict.
The work is fully remote. Any location in Austria works, with a few hours of overlap with the team's day. Evenings or weekends are fine, as long as the agreed weekly output is there.
What you deliver
- Audit 20 months of payroll for 60 employees and report rate errors, missed deductions and overtime issues.
- A 20-minute walkthrough call, or a recorded screen share if you prefer
- A final note stating what was checked and what was left out of scope
- The finished deliverable in the agreed file format, with sources and assumptions listed
How the work runs
- Day 1: scope confirmed in writing, files shared
- Middle of the period: draft shared for early feedback
- Last day: final version and handover note
Duration: 2 to 3 weeks. Accepted when the company contact confirms the deliverable against the written checklist. One round of edits is included.
