About this task

This telecom software company (5,000+ employees) is looking for a manager Pricing & Competitive Analyst for a monthly bundle of recurring tasks, 10–20 h a month. Looks at which features drive plan choice and upgrades.

A named list of recurring items keeps the month predictable for both sides. It is a telecom company, with large datasets and long-running programmes.

The team sits in Minneapolis. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. Most people do this on weekday evenings; replies inside the working day are not expected. About 2 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (CT).

What you deliver

  • Analyse feature usage by plan to propose a three-tier structure with a rationale.
  • The monthly list of items completed, each with a link to the result
  • A month-end summary with hours used against the cap
  • A running log of open questions, reviewed at the start of each week

What a month looks like

  • Week 1: intake call and a list of what is due this month
  • Weeks 2 and 3: items completed in short sessions
  • Week 4: month-end summary and the list for next month

Duration: 12 weeks, with a monthly hours cap. Accepted when the output matches the agreed checklist and the sample check passes; the recruiter confirms by e-mail.
