About this task

This regional bank serving professional firms (51–200 employees) is looking for a senior Payroll Specialist for a single piece of work with a fixed scope and a fixed price. Collects benefits in kind and prepares the P11D figures before the July deadline.

The company has a deadline, no one free to own it, and wants a person who has done the same job before. It is a regulated bank; the work is documented and reviewed before anything is signed off.

The team sits in Stevenage. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. You choose your hours; nothing is scheduled except an occasional short call. About 2 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (UK time).

What you deliver

  • Collect company cars, medical cover and loans for 25 employees and prepare the P11D and P11D(b) working papers.
  • A final note stating what was checked and what was left out of scope
  • A 20-minute walkthrough call, or a recorded screen share if you prefer
  • The finished deliverable in the agreed file format, with sources and assumptions listed

How the work runs

  • Day 1: scope confirmed in writing, files shared
  • Middle of the period: draft shared for early feedback
  • Last day: final version and handover note

Duration: 2 to 3 weeks. Accepted on the company's written OK. If something is missed, you fix it in the same week at no extra charge to either side.
