About this task
This regional bank serving farmers and food producers (201–500 employees) is looking for a specialist Accounts Receivable & Collections Specialist for an ongoing part-time engagement of 4–10 h a week. Contacts customers with late balances and agrees payment dates.
The team is stretched and wants steady, predictable help instead of another full-time hire. It is a regulated bank; the work is documented and reviewed before anything is signed off.
The team sits in Spring Hill. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. The work runs in two set slots a week, agreed with the team at the start. About 1 hour a week should overlap with the team's day (ET).
What you deliver
- Contact the 40 customers over 60 days late, record promises to pay and escalate the five largest balances.
- Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day
- A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends
- Work logged against the agreed list, so the company contact can see progress without a call
What a week looks like
- Wednesday: pick up the queue and confirm priorities
- Midweek: two short working sessions of one to two hours
- Friday: update sent before the company's end of day
Duration: 8 weeks, renewable. Accepted on the company's written OK. If something is missed, you fix it in the same week at no extra charge to either side.
