About this task

This omnichannel retailer with stores in six countries (501–1,000 employees) is looking for a specialist Accounts Receivable & Collections Specialist for an ongoing part-time engagement of 4–10 h a week. Contacts customers with late balances and agrees payment dates.

Workload peaks and dips, so a few fixed hours a week fit better than a full-time seat. It is a retailer with stores and an online channel, and the team works to a weekly trading rhythm.

The work is fully remote. Any location in Austria works, with a few hours of overlap with the team's day. The company prefers early-morning hours, before a normal working day starts. About 2 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (CET).

What you deliver

• Contact the 30 customers over 40 days late, record promises to pay and escalate the five largest balances.
• A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends
• A written update every Thursday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked
• Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day

What a week looks like

• Daily: one hour at a time that suits you, inside the agreed window
• Friday: ten-minute sync if anything is blocked
• Thursday: weekly summary posted to the shared thread

Duration: 12 weeks, renewable. Accepted after the walkthrough. Edits requested within three working days are part of the price.

How you get paid

• The company prepays Deftridge before your first hour, so payment does not depend on a late invoice.
• Deftridge pays you in EUR after the company confirms the hours or the deliverable. The payment date is written in your task agreement.
• You work as an independent contractor: you report your own income, and your recruiter sends the statements your accountant needs.
• You never chase the company. Questions about money go to Deftridge.
