About this task

This Supply-chain software company with a cold-chain network (501–1,000 employees) is looking for a senior Data Analyst for an ongoing part-time engagement of 1–2 h a week. A tracked set of operating metrics that stays current.

The company wants a senior person on this without carrying the cost of a full-time role. It moves goods for customers, so the data is operational and updated daily.

The work is fully remote, but the company can only contract people who live in Texas, so this one is for residents there. The company prefers early-morning hours, before a normal working day starts. About 2 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (CT).

What you deliver

• Build and maintain a monthly KPI workbook for operations with automatic refreshes from the database.
• Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day
• Work logged against the agreed list, so the company contact can see progress without a call
• A written update every Tuesday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked

What a week looks like

• Friday: 15-minute check-in to agree the week's items
• Wednesday: main working block (1 hours)
• Tuesday: hand-off note with what shipped and what is open

Duration: 6 months, then month by month. Accepted when the company contact confirms the deliverable against the written checklist. One round of edits is included.

How you get paid

• The company prepays Deftridge before your first hour, so payment does not depend on a late invoice.
• Deftridge pays you in USD after the company confirms the hours or the deliverable. The payment date is written in your task agreement.
• You work as an independent contractor: you report your own income, and your recruiter sends the statements your accountant needs.
• You never chase the company. Questions about money go to Deftridge.
