About this task
This b2B media company covering business news (51–200 employees) is looking for a specialist Data Analyst for an ongoing part-time engagement of 1–2 h a week. A tracked set of operating metrics that stays current.
The person who did this left, and the company would rather bring in an experienced part-timer than rush a permanent hire. It publishes content on a schedule, so editorial deadlines are fixed.
The company prefers a person who can come to Manhattan for kickoff and the final review; the rest is remote. You choose your hours; nothing is scheduled except an occasional short call. About 1 hour a week should overlap with the team's day (CT).
What you deliver
- Build and maintain a monthly KPI workbook for operations with automatic refreshes from the database.
- A written update every Tuesday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked
- A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends
- Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day
What a week looks like
- Friday: 15-minute check-in to agree the week's items
- Monday: main working block (1 hours)
- Tuesday: hand-off note with what shipped and what is open
Duration: 12 weeks, renewable. Accepted when the company contact confirms the deliverable against the written checklist. One round of edits is included.
