About this task
This energy services company in energy storage (501–1,000 employees) is looking for a manager Data Analyst for an ongoing part-time engagement of 1–2 h a week. A tracked set of operating metrics that stays current.
The person who did this left, and the company would rather bring in an experienced part-timer than rush a permanent hire. It is an energy business with strict compliance and reporting cycles.
The team sits in Hartford. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. You choose your hours; nothing is scheduled except an occasional short call. About 2 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (ET).
What you deliver
- Build and maintain a monthly KPI workbook for operations with automatic refreshes from the database.
- A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends
- Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day
- A written update every Tuesday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked
What a week looks like
- Thursday: 15-minute check-in to agree the week's items
- Friday: main working block (1 hours)
- Tuesday: hand-off note with what shipped and what is open
Duration: 6 months, then month by month. Accepted when the output matches the agreed checklist and the sample check passes; the recruiter confirms by e-mail.
