About this task

This Public-sector services provider serving cities (1,001–5,000 employees) is looking for a senior SEO Specialist for a monthly bundle of recurring tasks, 8–16 h a month. Updates titles, headings, internal links and copy on key pages.

The same kind of work comes back every month, so the company prefers one person with an hours cap over ad-hoc requests. It supplies the public sector, so documentation follows contract rules.

The work is fully remote, but the company can only contract people who live in Colorado, so this one is for residents there. You choose your hours; nothing is scheduled except an occasional short call.

What you deliver

• Optimise the 30 pages with the highest impression-to-click gap and report results after 60 days.
• A month-end summary with hours used against the cap
• The monthly list of items completed, each with a link to the result
• A running log of open questions, reviewed at the start of each week

What a month looks like

• Week 1: intake call and a list of what is due this month
• Weeks 2 and 3: items completed in short sessions
• Week 4: month-end summary and the list for next month

Duration: 12 weeks, with a monthly hours cap. Accepted after the walkthrough. Edits requested within three working days are part of the price.

How you get paid

• The company prepays Deftridge before your first hour, so payment does not depend on a late invoice.

• You work as an independent contractor: you report your own income, and your recruiter sends the statements your accountant needs.
