About this task
This Language-learning company for corporate training (1,001–5,000 employees) is looking for a director Talent Acquisition Manager for an ongoing part-time engagement of 2–5 h a week. Helps close the candidates the company wants.
The team is stretched and wants steady, predictable help instead of another full-time hire. It works in education, with a calendar built around terms and enrolment peaks.
The work is fully remote, but the company can only contract people who live in Alberta, so this one is for residents there. Most people do this on weekday evenings; replies inside the working day are not expected. About 2 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (MT).
What you deliver
- Support hiring managers on offers: pay, timing and candidate calls for senior hires.
- A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends
- A written update every Friday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked
- Work logged against the agreed list, so the company contact can see progress without a call
What a week looks like
- Thursday: 15-minute check-in to agree the week's items
- Wednesday: main working block (2 hours)
- Friday: hand-off note with what shipped and what is open
Duration: 16 weeks, renewable. Accepted on the company's written OK. If something is missed, you fix it in the same week at no extra charge to either side.
