About this task

This Series A language-learning company for universities (11–50 employees) is looking for a manager Reference-Answer Writer for a rating and review programme for AI output in your own field, 4–10 h a week. Writes step-by-step solutions with checkable numbers.

The programme needs subject-matter experts who can tell a good answer from a plausible one in their own field. It works in education, with a calendar built around terms and enrolment peaks.

The work is fully remote. Any location in United States works, with a few hours of overlap with the team's day.

What you deliver

• Write 8 multi-step solutions with intermediate values and an answer check.
• Flags for answers that are unsafe, off-topic or wrong in your field
• A weekly count of items reviewed, confirmed by the programme lead
• Short calibration notes after the first batch, so your ratings match the guidelines

What a week looks like

• Friday: 15-minute check-in to agree the week's items
• Monday: main working block (4 hours)
• Wednesday: hand-off note with what shipped and what is open

Duration: Weekly batches for 8 weeks, renewed every four weeks. Accepted after the walkthrough. Edits requested within three working days are part of the price.

How you get paid

• The company prepays Deftridge before your first hour, so payment does not depend on a late invoice.

• You work as an independent contractor: you report your own income, and your recruiter sends the statements your accountant needs.
