About this task
This Series C crypto payments company in custody (201–500 employees) is looking for a specialist FP&A Analyst for an ongoing part-time engagement of 1–2 h a week. Actual against budget with explanations from the budget owners.
The person who did this left, and the company would rather bring in an experienced part-timer than rush a permanent hire. It works in digital assets, where compliance and record keeping are a daily topic.
The company prefers a person who can come to Fresno for kickoff and the final review; the rest is remote. Most people do this on weekday evenings; replies inside the working day are not expected.
What you deliver
- Produce the October variance report for eight departments with a one-paragraph explanation on every variance above 10%.
- A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends
- Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day
- A written update every Thursday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked
What a week looks like
- Wednesday: 15-minute check-in to agree the week's items
- Monday: main working block (1 hours)
- Thursday: hand-off note with what shipped and what is open
Duration: 6 months, then month by month. Accepted on the company's written OK. If something is missed, you fix it in the same week at no extra charge to either side.
