About this task

This food producer for restaurants (5,000+ employees) is looking for a manager Email & Lifecycle Marketer for an ongoing part-time engagement of 1–2 h a week. Plans, writes and sends a newsletter with reporting.

The team is stretched and wants steady, predictable help instead of another full-time hire. It produces and sells food and drink, with seasonal peaks and strict labelling rules.

The team sits in Pittsburgh. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. Evenings or weekends are fine, as long as the agreed weekly output is there. About 2 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (ET).

What you deliver

  • Produce and send the monthly newsletter with a plan, copy, design and results review.
  • Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day
  • A written update every Tuesday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked
  • Work logged against the agreed list, so the company contact can see progress without a call

What a week looks like

  • Friday: 15-minute check-in to agree the week's items
  • Monday: main working block (1 hours)
  • Tuesday: hand-off note with what shipped and what is open

Duration: 8 weeks, renewable. Accepted on the company's written OK. If something is missed, you fix it in the same week at no extra charge to either side.
