About this task

This Travel-technology company with resorts (1,001–5,000 employees) is looking for a senior B2B Content Writer for an ongoing part-time engagement of 2–6 h a week. A set volume of articles each month at an agreed standard.

The company wants a senior person on this without carrying the cost of a full-time role. It works in travel and hospitality, where demand is seasonal.

The company prefers a person who can come to Washington, D.C. for kickoff and the final review; the rest is remote. Most people do this on weekday evenings; replies inside the working day are not expected. About 2 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (ET).

What you deliver

• Deliver four 1,500-word articles a month for a cybersecurity vendor, from approved briefs.
• Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day
• A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends
• A written update every Monday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked

What a week looks like

• Tuesday: 15-minute check-in to agree the week's items
• Friday: main working block (2 hours)
• Monday: hand-off note with what shipped and what is open

Duration: 8 weeks, renewable. Accepted after the walkthrough. Edits requested within three working days are part of the price.

How you get paid

• The company prepays Deftridge before your first hour, so payment does not depend on a late invoice.

• You work as an independent contractor: you report your own income, and your recruiter sends the statements your accountant needs.
