About this task

This Space-technology company making satellite parts (5,000+ employees) is looking for a senior B2B Content Writer for an ongoing part-time engagement of 2–6 h a week. A set volume of articles each month at an agreed standard.

The company wants a senior person on this without carrying the cost of a full-time role. It works in aerospace, where change control and documentation are formal.

The team sits in Virginia Beach. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. Evenings or weekends are fine, as long as the agreed weekly output is there. About 3 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (ET).

What you deliver

• Deliver four 1,500-word articles a month for a cybersecurity vendor, from approved briefs.
• Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day
• A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends
• Work logged against the agreed list, so the company contact can see progress without a call

What a week looks like

• Wednesday: 15-minute check-in to agree the week's items
• Tuesday: main working block (2 hours)
• Friday: hand-off note with what shipped and what is open

Duration: 8 weeks, renewable. Accepted after the walkthrough. Edits requested within three working days are part of the price.

How you get paid

• The company prepays Deftridge before your first hour, so payment does not depend on a late invoice.
• Deftridge pays you in USD after the company confirms the hours or the deliverable. The payment date is written in your task agreement.
• You work as an independent contractor: you report your own income, and your recruiter sends the statements your accountant needs.
