About this task
This Series C HR software company for construction firms (201–500 employees) is looking for a specialist B2B Content Writer for an ongoing part-time engagement of 2–6 h a week. A set volume of articles each month at an agreed standard.
The team is stretched and wants steady, predictable help instead of another full-time hire. The company sells subscription software, so deadlines follow release and billing cycles.
The team sits in Knoxville. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. Most people do this on weekday evenings; replies inside the working day are not expected. About 3 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (ET).
What you deliver
- Deliver four 1,500-word articles a month for a cybersecurity vendor, from approved briefs.
- Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day
- A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends
- A written update every Wednesday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked
What a week looks like
- Daily: one hour at a time that suits you, inside the agreed window
- Thursday: ten-minute sync if anything is blocked
- Wednesday: weekly summary posted to the shared thread
Duration: 12 weeks, renewable. Accepted when the company contact confirms the deliverable against the written checklist. One round of edits is included.
