About this task
This subscription commerce company for specialty food (1,001–5,000 employees) is looking for a director Fractional Controller for an ongoing part-time engagement of 2–6 h a week. Owns the close calendar, reviews every reconciliation and publishes the monthly package.
Workload peaks and dips, so a few fixed hours a week fit better than a full-time seat. It sells online, so volumes move with promotions and the calendar matters.
The team sits in Toulouse. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. You choose your hours; nothing is scheduled except an occasional short call. About 2 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (CET).
What you deliver
- Run the October close for a 60-person SaaS company: checklist, reviews, and the finance package by working day 8.
- A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends
- A written update every Tuesday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked
- Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day
What a week looks like
- Monday: pick up the queue and confirm priorities
- Midweek: two short working sessions of one to two hours
- Tuesday: update sent before the company's end of day
Duration: 16 weeks, renewable. Accepted after the walkthrough. Edits requested within three working days are part of the price.
