About this task
This crypto payments company in custody (1,001–5,000 employees) is looking for a manager Fractional Controller for an ongoing part-time engagement of 2–6 h a week. Owns the close calendar, reviews every reconciliation and publishes the monthly package.
The person who did this left, and the company would rather bring in an experienced part-timer than rush a permanent hire. It works in digital assets, where compliance and record keeping are a daily topic.
The work is fully remote. Any location in Spain works, with a few hours of overlap with the team's day. The company prefers early-morning hours, before a normal working day starts. About 1 hour a week should overlap with the team's day (CET).
What you deliver
- Run the October close for a 60-person SaaS company: checklist, reviews, and the finance package by working day 8.
- A written update every Thursday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked
- Work logged against the agreed list, so the company contact can see progress without a call
- Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day
What a week looks like
- Wednesday: pick up the queue and confirm priorities
- Midweek: two short working sessions of one to two hours
- Thursday: update sent before the company's end of day
Duration: 16 weeks, renewable. Accepted when the output matches the agreed checklist and the sample check passes; the recruiter confirms by e-mail.
