Model Review and Handover (Python)

About this task

This streaming and audio company in sport (201–500 employees) is looking for a manager Data Scientist for a single piece of work with a fixed scope and a fixed price. An independent check of a model before it goes live.

A fresh pair of experienced eyes is needed, and the result is a document or file the team can use straight away. It publishes content on a schedule, so editorial deadlines are fixed.

The work is fully remote. Any location in Czechia works, with a few hours of overlap with the team's day. Most people do this on weekday evenings; replies inside the working day are not expected. About 2 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (CET).

What you deliver

• Review a pricing model's data, method and monitoring and write a plan to fix the main risks.
• A 20-minute walkthrough call, or a recorded screen share if you prefer
• One round of edits after the company's review is included
• A final note stating what was checked and what was left out of scope

How the work runs

• Day 1: scope confirmed in writing, files shared
• Middle of the period: draft shared for early feedback
• Last day: final version and handover note

Duration: 2 to 3 weeks. Accepted on the company's written OK. If something is missed, you fix it in the same week at no extra charge to either side.

How you get paid

• The company prepays Deftridge before your first hour, so payment does not depend on a late invoice.
• Deftridge pays you in EUR after the company confirms the hours or the deliverable. The payment date is written in your task agreement.
• You work as an independent contractor: you report your own income, and your recruiter sends the statements your accountant needs.
• You never chase the company. Questions about money go to Deftridge.
