About this task

This Food-supply cooperative in crop analytics (201–500 employees) is looking for a manager Project Manager for an ongoing part-time engagement of 2–5 h a week. Runs the recurring project meetings and keeps decisions on record.

The team is stretched and wants steady, predictable help instead of another full-time hire. It is an agri-business, so the calendar follows the growing season.

The work is fully remote, but the company can only contract people who live in Arizona, so this one is for residents there. The work runs in two set slots a week, agreed with the team at the start. About 2 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (MST).

What you deliver

• Chair the weekly project meeting, keep to the agenda and publish decisions within two hours.
• A written update every Thursday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked
• Work logged against the agreed list, so the company contact can see progress without a call
• A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends

What a week looks like

• Daily: one hour at a time that suits you, inside the agreed window
• Monday: ten-minute sync if anything is blocked
• Thursday: weekly summary posted to the shared thread

Duration: 12 weeks, renewable. Accepted when the company contact confirms the deliverable against the written checklist. One round of edits is included.

How you get paid

• The company prepays Deftridge before your first hour, so payment does not depend on a late invoice.
• Deftridge pays you in USD after the company confirms the hours or the deliverable. The payment date is written in your task agreement.
• You work as an independent contractor: you report your own income, and your recruiter sends the statements your accountant needs.
• You never chase the company. Questions about money go to Deftridge.
