About this task
This contract research organisation (11–50 employees) is looking for a manager Legal Operations for a single piece of work with a fixed scope and a fixed price. Cleans and structures matter data.
It is a self-contained job: scope, checklist and price are agreed before you start. It works in life sciences, where documents are versioned and reviewed in a fixed order.
The work is fully remote, but the company can only contract people who live in Illinois, so this one is for residents there. You choose your hours; nothing is scheduled except an occasional short call.
What you deliver
- Clean 400 matter records and standardise types and owners.
- A final note stating what was checked and what was left out of scope
- The finished deliverable in the agreed file format, with sources and assumptions listed
- One round of edits after the company's review is included
How the work runs
- Day 1: kickoff call and access to the files
- Days 2 to 7: the work, with questions answered the same day
- Last day: delivery and a short walkthrough
Duration: about 10 working days. Accepted after the walkthrough. Edits requested within three working days are part of the price.
