About this task
This publishing house in education (201–500 employees) is looking for a senior Marketing Manager for a single piece of work with a fixed scope and a fixed price. A quarter or year plan with goals, channels, budget and owners.
It is a self-contained job: scope, checklist and price are agreed before you start. It publishes content on a schedule, so editorial deadlines are fixed.
The work is fully remote and open to anyone living in an EU country; the team itself works from France. Most people do this on weekday evenings; replies inside the working day are not expected.
What you deliver
- Write the next-quarter marketing plan for a 40-person B2B company: goals, channel mix, budget split and a week-by-week calendar.
- The finished deliverable in the agreed file format, with sources and assumptions listed
- One round of edits after the company's review is included
- A final note stating what was checked and what was left out of scope
How the work runs
- Day 1: scope confirmed in writing, files shared
- Middle of the period: draft shared for early feedback
- Last day: final version and handover note
Duration: 2 to 3 weeks. Accepted when the output matches the agreed checklist and the sample check passes; the recruiter confirms by e-mail.

Nice to have
- Has worked with a distributed team across time zones
- A habit of asking one clarifying question early rather than five late
Not included
- Work outside the scope written in the brief; extra items are quoted separately
- Travel or work at a fixed location
- Anything that needs a signature in your own name unless the brief says so
How you get paid
