Marketing Leadership Hour · Media

About this task

This publishing house covering technology (51–200 employees) is looking for a director Marketing Manager for a paid one-hour session with a senior specialist. One hour with an experienced marketing leader on a hire, a budget or a channel decision.

A short, focused session replaces days of internal debate. It publishes content on a schedule, so editorial deadlines are fixed.

The work is fully remote. Any location in Canada works, with a few hours of overlap with the team's day. The call is booked at a time that suits you, evenings included. About 2 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (PT).

What you deliver

• Review a founder's marketing budget and hiring plan and answer three specific questions on what to do first.
• No preparation outside the hour unless you both agree to extend
• Pointers to sources you relied on, so the company can check them
• One focused hour, with the questions sent to you the day before

How the work runs

• Day 1: scope confirmed in writing, files shared
• Middle of the period: draft shared for early feedback
• Last day: final version and handover note

Duration: One session of about an hour. Accepted after the walkthrough. Edits requested within three working days are part of the price.
