About this task
This energy services company in wind (201–500 employees) is looking for a senior Pricing & Competitive Analyst for a single piece of work with a fixed scope and a fixed price. Contribution margin by product and customer type.
A fresh pair of experienced eyes is needed, and the result is a document or file the team can use straight away. It is an energy business with strict compliance and reporting cycles.
The company prefers a person who can come to Cork for kickoff and the final review; the rest is remote. Evenings or weekends are fine, as long as the agreed weekly output is there. About 2 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (Irish time).
What you deliver
- Calculate gross margin by customer segment and highlight the three least profitable groups.
- A final note stating what was checked and what was left out of scope
- A 20-minute walkthrough call, or a recorded screen share if you prefer
- One round of edits after the company's review is included
How the work runs
- Day 1: kickoff call and access to the files
- Days 2 to 6: the work, with questions answered the same day
- Last day: delivery and a short walkthrough
Duration: 1 to 2 weeks. Accepted on the company's written OK. If something is missed, you fix it in the same week at no extra charge to either side.
