About this task

This Clinical-stage biotech in oncology (5,000+ employees) is looking for a senior Policy & Handbook Writer for a monthly bundle of recurring tasks, 8–12 h a month. One-page guides for common manager tasks.

A named list of recurring items keeps the month predictable for both sides. It works in life sciences, where documents are versioned and reviewed in a fixed order.

The work is fully remote. Any location in United Kingdom works, with a few hours of overlap with the team's day. You choose your hours; nothing is scheduled except an occasional short call. About 2 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (UK time).

What you deliver

  • Write 10 one-page guides on topics such as time-off requests and probation reviews.
  • The monthly list of items completed, each with a link to the result
  • A running log of open questions, reviewed at the start of each week
  • A named list of items moved to next month, so nothing is lost

What a month looks like

  • Start of month: the company shares the items and the priorities
  • Mid-month: progress check of 15 minutes
  • Month end: hours used against the cap, results and open items

Duration: 12 weeks, with a monthly hours cap. Accepted on the company's written OK. If something is missed, you fix it in the same week at no extra charge to either side.
