About this task
This performance marketing agency for consumer brands (51–200 employees) is looking for a manager Policy & Handbook Writer for a monthly bundle of recurring tasks, 8–12 h a month. One-page guides for common manager tasks.
The same kind of work comes back every month, so the company prefers one person with an hours cap over ad-hoc requests. It is an agency, so work is organised around client campaigns and approval rounds.
The work is fully remote, but the company can only contract people who live in California, so this one is for residents there. The work runs in two set slots a week, agreed with the team at the start. About 2 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (PT).
What you deliver
- Write 12 one-page guides on topics such as time-off requests and probation reviews.
- A month-end summary with hours used against the cap
- The monthly list of items completed, each with a link to the result
- A running log of open questions, reviewed at the start of each week
What a month looks like
- Start of month: the company shares the items and the priorities
- Mid-month: progress check of 15 minutes
- Month end: hours used against the cap, results and open items
Duration: 12 weeks, with a monthly hours cap. Accepted when the company contact confirms the deliverable against the written checklist. One round of edits is included.
