Manager Coaching Session (Zoom)

About this task

This specialty retailer selling electronics (201–500 employees) is looking for a manager Fractional HR Business Partner for a paid one-hour session with a senior specialist. A short coaching call for a manager facing a people issue.

The company has one decision to take and wants a senior view before it does. It is a retailer with stores and an online channel, and the team works to a weekly trading rhythm.

The work is fully remote. Any location in France works, with a few hours of overlap with the team's day. The call is booked at a time that suits you, evenings included. About 2 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (CET).

What you deliver

• Coach a first-time manager on a performance conversation and agree next steps.
• Pointers to sources you relied on, so the company can check them
• One focused hour, with the questions sent to you the day before
• No preparation outside the hour unless you both agree to extend

How the work runs

• Day 1: kickoff call and access to the files
• Days 2 to 3: the work, with questions answered the same day
• Last day: delivery and a short walkthrough

Duration: One session of about an hour. Accepted after the walkthrough. Edits requested within three working days are part of the price.

How you get paid

• The company prepays Deftridge before your first hour, so payment does not depend on a late invoice.
• Deftridge pays you in EUR after the company confirms the hours or the deliverable. The payment date is written in your task agreement.
• You work as an independent contractor: you report your own income, and your recruiter sends the statements your accountant needs.
• You never chase the company. Questions about money go to Deftridge.
