About this task

This electronics manufacturer supplying medical devices (1,001–5,000 employees) is looking for a manager Financial Model Reviewer for a single piece of work with a fixed scope and a fixed price. Challenges cost-saving assumptions, financing and purchase accounting in a deal model.

The work is too small to justify a hire and too important to leave to chance. It manufactures physical products, and the office team works to month-end and plant schedules.

The team sits in London. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. Most people do this on weekday evenings; replies inside the working day are not expected. About 2 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (UK time).

What you deliver

  • Review the cost-saving and debt schedules in an acquisition model and flag items that move the price.
  • A final note stating what was checked and what was left out of scope
  • The finished deliverable in the agreed file format, with sources and assumptions listed
  • One round of edits after the company's review is included

How the work runs

  • Day 1: scope confirmed in writing, files shared
  • Middle of the period: draft shared for early feedback
  • Last day: final version and handover note

Duration: about 10 working days. Accepted when the company contact confirms the deliverable against the written checklist. One round of edits is included.
