About this task
This Series C online retailer (201–500 employees) is looking for a senior Financial Model Reviewer for a single piece of work with a fixed scope and a fixed price. Challenges cost-saving assumptions, financing and purchase accounting in a deal model.
The work is too small to justify a hire and too important to leave to chance. It sells online, so volumes move with promotions and the calendar matters.
The work is fully remote. Any location in Germany works, with a few hours of overlap with the team's day. Evenings or weekends are fine, as long as the agreed weekly output is there.
What you deliver
- Review the cost-saving and debt schedules in an acquisition model and flag items that move the price.
- The finished deliverable in the agreed file format, with sources and assumptions listed
- A final note stating what was checked and what was left out of scope
- A 20-minute walkthrough call, or a recorded screen share if you prefer
How the work runs
- Day 1: scope confirmed in writing, files shared
- Middle of the period: draft shared for early feedback
- Last day: final version and handover note
Duration: about 10 working days. Accepted on the company's written OK. If something is missed, you fix it in the same week at no extra charge to either side.
